A collection of influential books gifted from the personal libraries of revered arts and cultural figures.
Victoria Wagner
Victoria Wagner’s organic, multilayered paintings, sculptures and drawings vacillate between objective and non-objective notions. The main thread of her work is found in tonal vibration, electricity and naive human understanding of the simplicity of the natural world and elegance of the human mind.
Recently venues include Southern Exposure, theLab, Headlands Center for the Arts, Don Soker Contemporary Art, Andrea Schwartz Gallery in San Francisco, Blankspace Gallery in Oakland, Sonoma County Museum, DiRosa Art and Nature Preserve, Brewery Project in Los Angeles.
In 2013, she was awarded a residency at Warnecke Ranch (Chalk Hill Residency Program) and a Creative Capital Grant for professional development by the Center for Cultural Innovation.
In 2014, Victoria will have solo shows at Galeria Califia in Czech Republic and Dose Projects in Brooklyn, New York.
