Andy Marko

Andy Marko is an artist who works in a variety of media. By applying a wide range of contemporary strategies, Marko tries to approach subjects in a multi-layered way. His works are based on inspiring situations: visions that reflect a sensation of indisputability and serene contemplation, combined with subtle details of odd or eccentric, humoristic elements. Often described as a media and/or performance artist, his videos and installations have been viewed globally. Marko earned degrees in History and an MFA in Film and is currently completing an MA in Art History. Andy Marko lives and works in Cincinnati.
